articulated crosses

Fabricated Sterling.  Approximately 1 1/2 inches.

This pair of crosses was commissioned for a confirmand and sponsor.  They’re a variation of some I’ve done previously.  These are smaller, and with a little difference in emphasis.

This shows one of the crosses with a chain.

These articulate for movement.

hanging garnet and aquamarine pendant

Fabricated silver, garnet and aquamarine beads.  Approximately 1 1/2 inches.

A derivative of an older design (see the post dated June 11).  This is a commissioned piece.  I think it works.

Out in the sunshine showing a bit of the stones’ depth.

One more, a close up.  All the pieces pivot on the rivet going through the bail.

penannular brooch

IMG_7090

Fabricated Sterling and fossilized ivory.  About 2 inches.  The ivory is secured with two rivets.

Penannular means simply, “almost a circle.”  It is an ancient design, but I’ve attempted to give it a non-traditional feel.
