too much Christmas cheer

Fabricated Sterling and commercial chain.

I’m just playing around with the bells.

Admittedly, it’s a little ridiculous. But it sure was fun.

It’s just what Mrs. Claus needs on a cold winter night.

hanging garnet and aquamarine pendant

Fabricated silver, garnet and aquamarine beads.  Approximately 1 1/2 inches.

A derivative of an older design (see the post dated June 11).  This is a commissioned piece.  I think it works.

Out in the sunshine showing a bit of the stones’ depth.

One more, a close up.  All the pieces pivot on the rivet going through the bail.

garnet ring

Fabricated Sterling, 14k gold bezel, and garnet. This is one from a while ago.  I think it has a medieval vibe going.

Out of the light the stone looks black.  Now there’s a metaphor for you.

chi rho wall cross

Sterling.  Approx. 4 inches.

The sheet stock that makes up the bulk of the form is reclaimed Sterling and hand-milled to a thickness of 22 gauge.  The cross-piece is 10 gauge wire.

A variant of the Chi Rho (see the July 4 post below).  This will also be a wedding gift for a Christian family.

How it looks hanging on our wall.

Detail showing the join.Still on the bench.  The ruler might give you an idea of the scale.
